Argentina had it's advantages and disadvantages, on one side, getting to Buenos Aires from an airport that they hadn't yet finished building was a nightmare, cold, winter-like weather and the people there were nice apart from being worked up towards us about the Falklands. I get it fam they're yours, I don't care. On the other side the sophisticated style of Buenos Aires, the Argentine steak and multicultural style of the country made it an interesting city to explore.

In front of the palace you can see I am incognito with my England shirt

Argentina's main selling point is definitely the delicious steak that is served in the traditional restaurants which are reminiscent of European culture. As well there is tango dancing which is genuinely worth seeing.

Just looking at it makes you feel hungry, probably the best food I've had in my life |
During my time in Buenos Aires I decided to take the boat over to Uruguay, I visited a small town called Colonia which looked like the rural area in GTA V. I bought a Uruguay shirt and went horse riding in rural Uruguay. As someone who has never done horse riding it kind of made me shit-scared.

A mix of old and new here makes Buenos Aires interesting to explore |
Furthermore, in Buenos Aires, what caught my eye was the European-style architecture and the influence that many different cultures had impacted the city, for example: the Japanese garden was a place I visited which would have been nice and peaceful if it wasn't so packed.

Had to wait five minutes to get my picture taken here to make it look like I was in Japan

So what I would recommend the most in Buenos Aires is to see the palace, trying the steak and seeing Tango dances. Unfortunately I missed out on seeing La Bombonera.
In conclusion I would say that Buenos Aires is an interesting place to visit, it's safe, but what you must understand is no matter how hard you try to speak to them in Spanish their accent will be too confusing for you to pick up as they speak like their sentences are one word. Furthermore despite their contribution to the football world, it was impossible to find a shop which sold Argentina shirts that I could have as a souvenir, my only complaint.
