World of Wilson

After a few days in Rio de Janeiro I realised it is much better than you think, the city we see on the news is full of crime yet I had not experienced any danger during my time there. I went on a tour to see the big sites such as Christ the Redeemer and the Selaron steps and on the second day I watched the world cup with some new friends.

As part of my volunteering in Brazil, I had done a fundraiser for the NGO that I will be volunteering for. On Saturday I decided to climb Ben Nevis, it took seven hours and after hurting my legs and getting sunburnt in boiling heat. It was definitely worth it for raising money for such a great cause.
